Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG2b is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Applications Tested: Tested on normal human peripheral blood cells. Use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
• Fluorochrome Information: PE-eFluor® 610 can be excited with laser lines from 488–561 nm and emits at 607 nm. Recommended detection with a 610/20 band pass filter (equivalent to PE-Texas Red®).
• Light Sensitivity: Sensitive to photo-induced oxidation. Protect from light.
• Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) for up to 3 days in the dark at 4°C with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
• Excitation/Emission: 488–561 nm / 607 nm

Target Information

Mouse IgG2b is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the third most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in adaptive immune response, including opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It is also involved in immune regulation and is widely used in research and diagnostic applications such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in immunotherapy and vaccine development.
