Target Information
Mouse IgG3 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to an antigen. It is the least abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in the adaptive immune response. Mouse IgG3 consists of two heavy chains and two light chains and is involved in opsonization, complement activation, and antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity. It also contributes to the regulation of immune responses, including activation of T cells and inhibition of B cell activation. Though less commonly used than other IgG subtypes, Mouse IgG3 is still applied in research such as ELISA and immunohistochemistry.
