Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Beta Galactosidase (GLB1) encodes a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 35 family. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants, one of which encodes a preproprotein processed into the mature lysosomal enzyme. This enzyme hydrolyzes terminal β-linked galactose residues from ganglioside substrates and other glycoconjugates.
Mutations in GLB1 are associated with GM1-gangliosidosis and Morquio B syndrome.
