Target Information
CD56 (NCAM, neural cell adhesion molecule)은 immunoglobulin 계열의 막관통성 당단백질로, 신경계 전반에서 120–180 kDa 범위의 다양한 isoform으로 발현됩니다.
CD56은 T 세포 및 NK 세포에서 발견되며, 세포 이동, 축삭 성장, 경로 탐색, 시냅스 가소성에 관여합니다. Polysialic modification은 CD56 매개 세포 접착을 감소시킵니다.
CD56은 laminin 및 integrin과 같은 세포외 기질 성분과 결합하여 동종 및 이종 접착을 매개하며, 대부분의 신경외배엽 유래 세포주, 조직 및 종양(예: retinoblastoma, medulloblastoma, astrocytoma, neuroblastoma)에서 발현됩니다.
또한 CD56은 신경내분비 종양 및 난소 granulosa 세포 종양에 대한 민감도가 높은 신경내분비 표지자로 널리 사용됩니다.
CD56 기능 이상은 rabies 및 blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasms 등과 관련이 있습니다.
