The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The RING-type zinc finger motif is found in many viral and eukaryotic proteins, consisting of a conserved cysteine-rich domain that binds two zinc atoms. Proteins with this domain are generally involved in the ubiquitination pathway of protein degradation.
Nrdp1, also known as RNF41 (RING finger protein 41), SBBI03, or FLRF, is a 317 amino acid protein containing one RING-type and one SIAH-type zinc finger. It is expressed in testis, ovary, and prostate, functioning as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. Nrdp1 interacts with ErbB-3 and UBPY, targeting them for proteasomal degradation.
