Target Information
Mitofusin 1 (MFN1)와 관련 단백질 MFN2는 미토콘드리아 막의 GTPase 단백질로, 미토콘드리아 대사 조절에 중심적인 역할을 하며 비만 또는 세포자멸사(apoptosis) 과정과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다.
MFN1과 MFN2는 동종 및 이종 복합체를 형성하여 미토콘드리아 융합을 조절하며, 배아 발달에 필수적입니다.
과발현 시 MFN1은 Bax 단백질의 세포사멸 관련 N-말단 구조 변화를 억제하지만, 미토콘드리아로의 이동에는 영향을 주지 않습니다. 이는 MFN1이 외막에서 Bax 활성 조절에 관여함을 시사합니다.
