Product Specific Information
The eBioHMb1-1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse and rat CD29 (integrin beta 1), a 110–120 kDa member of the beta integrin family expressed by leukocytes, endothelial, smooth muscle, and epithelial cells. CD29 forms non-covalent complexes with alpha integrins (CD49a–f) to create VLA-1 through VLA-6 complexes and interacts with CD51. These heterodimers mediate cell adhesion, trafficking, proliferation, and differentiation.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Mouse bone marrow cells (≤ 0.4 µg/test, 100 µL final volume)
Recommended titration for optimal performance.
NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., PI, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.
CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01)
- Required for optimal staining with NovaFluor conjugates
- Add 5 µL per sample before combining with cells
- For single-color controls: 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells)
