Target Information
Adiponectin은 지방세포(adipocytes)에서만 분비되는 단백질 호르몬으로, 지질과 포도당 대사를 조절합니다.
비만, 인슐린 저항성, 고인슐린혈증(제2형 당뇨병)과 관련된 감소된 adiponectin 수치가 보고되었습니다.
마우스 모델에서 adiponectin은 인슐린 신호를 개선하고, AMP kinase 및 PPAR-alpha 활성화를 통해 근육 내 지방산 산화 및 운반을 증가시켜 인슐린 감수성을 향상시킵니다.
