Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The DLD gene encodes the L protein of the mitochondrial glycine cleavage system, also known as dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase.
This protein is a component of several dehydrogenase complexes, including the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex, the alpha-ketoglutarate dehydrogenase complex, and the branched-chain alpha-keto acid dehydrogenase complex.
Mutations in this gene are associated with E3-deficient maple syrup urine disease and lipoamide dehydrogenase deficiency.
