Target Information
The HSP70 family consists of four highly conserved proteins: HSP70, HSC70, GRP75, and GRP78.
GRP75 is localized to the mitochondrial matrix and assists in the translocation and folding of nascent polypeptides from both nuclear and mitochondrial origins.
GRP75 and GRP78 are not induced by heat stress but are upregulated under glucose deprivation conditions.
