Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TREM-2 is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse TREM-1 and TREM-3 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
TREM2 is a membrane protein forming a receptor signaling complex with TYROBP. It may play a role in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines.
Defects in this gene are associated with polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL).
