Target Information

RPS6KA2 (RSK3) serine/threonine kinase is a member of the ribosomal S6 kinase (RSK) family.
It acts as a signal-transducing intermediate in cellular responses to growth factors.
Highly expressed in lung and skeletal muscle tissues.
RSK1–4 are downstream members of the ERK/MAPK cascade.
Loss of RSK2 activity leads to Coffin-Lowry syndrome, characterized by mental retardation and growth deficits, and may affect G-protein coupled signaling regulation.
