Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences are cloned from immunoreactive rabbits, and individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
FANCD2 (Fanconi anemia group D2 protein) is required for maintenance of chromosomal stability and promotes accurate pairing of homologs during meiosis. It is involved in the repair of DNA double-stranded breaks via homologous recombination and single-stranded annealing. FANCD2 also stabilizes BLM at abnormal structures induced by replicative stress and promotes BRCA2/FANCD1 loading onto damaged chromatin.
Defects in the FANCD2 gene cause Fanconi anemia complementation group D2, which affects bone marrow elements, leading to anemia, leukopenia, and thrombopenia.
