Target Information
TRPC4AP acts as a substrate-specific adapter of the DCX (DDB1-CUL4-X-box) E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex required for cell cycle control. The DCX (TRUSS) complex mediates polyubiquitination and degradation of MYC. It also participates in activation of NFKB1 in response to TNFRSF1A ligation, potentially linking TNFRSF1A to the IKK signalosome. Additionally, it is involved in JNK activation via TRAF2 interaction and in modulation of endoplasmic reticulum Ca²⁺ storage reduction in response to CHRM1.
