Product Specific Information

Description:
The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, and sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, GlyCAM-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Each product includes:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported:
Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended use: 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test in a final 100 µL volume. Cell count range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Compatibility Note:
NovaFluor dyes are incompatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI). Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment.

Blocking Buffer Information:
This product ships with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01), optimized for NovaFluor conjugates. Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails prior to combining with cells. For single-color controls, use 5 µL per 100 µL of cell sample (10³–10⁸ cells).

Technology:
NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered nucleic acid dye structures to minimize spectral spillover and spread.

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor comprising:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Transmembrane and cytoplasmic regions

Expressed on most leukocytes including lymphocytes, monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells (except many memory T cells).
