SGK1 (Serum/Glucocorticoid Regulated Kinase 1)는 serine/threonine kinase로, hepatoma 세포에서 p38/MAPK의 전사적 표적일 수 있습니다.
SGK1은 세포 스트레스 반응과 생존에 중요한 역할을 하며, serum, glucocorticoids, osmotic stress, hormones 등 다양한 자극에 의해 전사적으로 활성화됩니다.
또한 SGK1은 pro-apoptotic FOXO3A를 인산화하여 음성 조절하며, 신장병증 및 심혈관 발달에 필수적 기능을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
