Target Information
The GNMT gene encodes an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of S-adenosyl-L-methionine to S-adenosyl-L-homocysteine and sarcosine. The enzyme is cytoplasmic and functions as a homotetramer. Defects in this gene are associated with GNMT deficiency.
