Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
In the hair cortex, hair keratin intermediate filaments are embedded in an interfilamentous matrix consisting of hair keratin-associated proteins (KRTAP). These proteins are essential for forming a rigid and resistant hair shaft through extensive disulfide bond cross-linking with cysteine residues of hair keratins. The matrix proteins include high-sulfur and high-glycine-tyrosine keratins.
