Cytokeratin pan은 중간 필라멘트 단백질의 하위군으로, 인간 상피 조직에서 최소 20종의 폴리펩타이드로 구성되어 있습니다. 분자량은 40–68 kDa, 등전점은 pH 4.9–7.8 범위입니다. Cytokeratin은 상피 유형 및 분화 정도에 따라 발현 패턴이 달라지며, 상피성 종양의 감별 진단 및 암 연구에서 중요한 마커로 활용됩니다. 또한 세포병리학 및 유세포 분석에서도 유용한 도구로 사용됩니다.
