Target Information
Human thyroglobulin (hTg)는 갑상선 여포 세포에 존재하는 고분자량 당단백질(605 kDa)로, T4 및 T3 호르몬의 흡수, 합성 및 조절된 생합성에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
갑상선 질환은 대부분 자가면역 기원이며, 항-thyroglobulin 항체는 최초로 발견된 자가항체 중 하나입니다.
Anti-hTG는 Hashimoto thyroiditis, Graves disease 등 모든 갑상선 자가면역 질환에서 발견되며, 특히 Hashimoto thyroiditis에서 가장 높은 수준을 보입니다.
또한 thyroid cancer에서도 특징적으로 검출되며, 암 환자의 추적 관찰에 활용될 수 있습니다.
