Target Information
Importin 9은 핵 내 단백질 수입에 관여하는 핵 수송 수용체로 작용합니다.
Nuclear localization signals (NLS)을 인식하여 cargo 단백질을 핵공복합체(NPC)에 도킹시키며, Ran 의존적 메커니즘을 통해 수송됩니다.
핵 내에서는 Ran-GTP 결합에 의해 Importin-Substrate 복합체가 해리되고, Importin은 세포질로 재수출됩니다.
H2B histone, RPS7, RPL18A의 핵 수입을 매개하며, RPS7 및 RPL18A의 세포질 내 응집을 방지합니다.
또한 H2A, H3, H4 histones, RPL4, RPL6의 수입에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
