Target Information
MATK (also known as Hyl) is a non-receptor CSK-type protein tyrosine kinase involved in signal transduction pathways that regulate megakaryocyte growth and differentiation. It plays a significant role in hematopoietic cell signaling by phosphorylating and inactivating Src family kinases, potentially acting as an inhibitor of T-cell proliferation. MATK may also be implicated in signaling pathways associated with certain breast cancers.
