Target Information

HLA-A는 HLA class I heavy chain paralogue로, heavy chain과 light chain(beta-2 microglobulin)으로 구성된 이종이합체입니다.
Class I 분자는 세포막에 고정되어 있으며, 면역체계에서 핵심적인 역할을 수행합니다.
이들은 내형질세망에서 유래된 펩타이드를 제시하며, 대부분의 세포에서 발현됩니다.

Heavy chain은 약 45 kDa 크기이며, 유전자는 8개의 엑손을 포함합니다.

• Exon 2–3: alpha1, alpha2 domains (peptide binding)
• Exon 4: alpha3 domain
• Exon 5: transmembrane region
• Exon 6–7: cytoplasmic tail

Exon 2와 3의 다형성은 각 class I 분자의 펩타이드 결합 특이성을 결정합니다.
