Product Specific Information

The SN3 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD24 (Heat Stable Antigen, HSA), a 35–50 kDa GPI-anchored molecule expressed on erythrocytes, thymocytes, peripheral lymphocytes, and myeloid lineage cells. P-selectin (CD62P) is known to bind CD24.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and validated for flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Super Bright 436 is excited by a 405 nm violet laser and emits at 436 nm. Use a 450/50 bandpass filter or equivalent. Ensure instrument compatibility.

For panels using multiple Super Bright dyes, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

CD24 is a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed during various stages of B-cell development, from pro-B cells in bone marrow to mature surface Ig-positive B cells. Plasma cells show low or no expression. CD24 is commonly found in B-lineage acute lymphoblastic leukemias, B-cell CCLs, and B-cell non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. It may regulate B-cell proliferation, maturation, and autoimmunity.
