Target Information
Calponin은 얇은 필라멘트 관련 단백질로, 평활근 수축의 조절 및 조정에 관여합니다. Actin, Calmodulin, Troponin C, Tropomyosin과 결합할 수 있으며, 평활근 및 평활근이 풍부한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
Calponin은 34kDa 및 29kDa의 두 가지 isoform으로 존재하며, 29kDa 형태는 주로 비뇨생식기의 근육에서 발현됩니다. 또한, 유방의 양성 및 악성 병변의 myoepithelial 세포에서도 발현이 확인되었습니다.
이 항체는 평활근, myoepithelial 세포, myofibroblast, keratinocyte 및 신경 섬유를 염색하며, 유방 병변의 myoepithelial 세포를 식별하고, collagenous spherulosis(양성)와 adenoid cystic carcinoma(악성)를 구분하는 데 도움을 줍니다. 또한, 타액선 종양의 adenoid cystic carcinoma에서도 calponin 양성을 나타냅니다.
