Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material. After reconstitution, store aliquots at -20°C for higher stability, or at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles. Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability.
Target Information
AP-1 complex subunit beta-1 is a component of the clathrin-associated adaptor protein complex 1 (AP-1). It plays a crucial role in protein sorting in the late-Golgi/trans-Golgi network (TGN) and/or endosomes. AP complexes mediate both clathrin recruitment to membranes and recognition of sorting signals within cytosolic tails of transmembrane cargo molecules.
