Target Information
Radixin is a cytoskeletal protein that may play an important role in linking actin to the plasma membrane. It shares high sequence similarity with ezrin and moesin. The radixin gene is localized to chromosome 11q23, with pseudogenes RDXP1 and RDXP2 mapped to 11p and Xp21.3, respectively. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
