Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).


Target Information

Vasodilator-stimulated phosphoprotein (VASP) belongs to the Ena-VASP protein family.
Members of this family contain:

  • EHV1 N-terminal domain: binds proteins with E/DFPPPPXD/E motifs and targets Ena-VASP proteins to focal adhesions
  • Proline-rich domain: binds SH3 and WW domain-containing proteins
  • C-terminal EVH2 domain: mediates tetramerization and binds G and F actin

VASP is involved in filamentous actin formation, cell adhesion, motility, and intracellular signaling pathways regulating integrin–extracellular matrix interactions.
It is regulated by cyclic nucleotide-dependent kinases PKA and PKG.
