Target Information
LATS1는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 세포 분열 시 미세소관 장치에 위치하며 초기 유사분열 단계에서 세포 주기 조절 인자인 CDC2 키나아제와 복합체를 형성합니다. 이는 세포 주기 의존적으로 인산화되며, H1 히스톤 키나아제 활성을 감소시켜 CDC2/cyclin A 복합체의 음성 조절자로 작용합니다. 또한 LATS1은 자체 N-말단과 C-말단 간의 상호작용을 통해 복합체 형성을 억제하는 음성 조절 기전을 가질 수 있습니다. LATS1은 종양 억제 유전자로 작용하며, 연부조직 육종 및 난소 기질 세포 종양 등 다양한 암 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
