Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Zinc-finger proteins contain DNA-binding domains and play diverse roles in transcriptional activation or repression. Most zinc-finger proteins include a Krüppel-type DNA binding domain and a KRAB domain, which interacts with KAP1 to recruit histone-modifying proteins.
ZNF786 (zinc finger protein 786) is a 782-amino acid protein in the Krüppel C2H2-type zinc-finger family and functions in transcriptional regulation. It localizes to the nucleus, contains 16 C2H2-type zinc fingers and a single KRAB domain, and is encoded by a gene on human chromosome 7q36.1.
