Target Information
Prolactin (PRL)은 젖 분비, 염분 및 수분 조절, 성장, 발달, 생식에 관여하는 뇌하수체 호르몬입니다. PRL은 세포막 수용체(PRLR)에 결합하여 신호전달 경로를 활성화합니다. PRLR은 사이토카인 수용체 패밀리에 속하며, 조직 및 종에 따라 약 40~100 kDa 크기의 단백질로 존재합니다. 구조적으로는 prolactin 결합 부위를 포함한 5개의 cysteine을 가진 세포외 영역, 단일 막관통 영역, 세포질 영역으로 구성되어 있으며, 세포 기능 조절에 관여합니다.
