Target Information
Aquaporin 2 (AQP2)는 신장의 집합관(collecting duct)에 위치한 호르몬 조절 수분 통로 단백질입니다.
AQP2 유전자의 돌연변이는 인간에서 유전성 신성 요붕증(nephrogenic diabetes insipidus)을 유발합니다.
바소프레신(vasopressin)에 의해 유도된 cAMP 증가로 AQP2가 Ser256 위치에서 인산화되어 세포 내 소포에서 주세포(apical membrane)로 이동합니다.
또한 Ser261은 새로운 인산화 부위로 확인되었으며, 바소프레신 처리 시 인산화된 S261 수준이 감소하여 바소프레신 의존적 AQP2 이동에 관여함을 시사합니다.
