Target Information
Granzyme B는 세포독성 T세포 및 NK세포의 과립 내에 존재하는 세린 프로테아제 계열 단백질입니다.
활성화된 세포독성 T림프구에서만 발현되며, 세포사멸(apoptosis) 유도에 핵심적인 역할을 합니다.
Granzyme B는 표적 세포 내로 침투하여 caspase-3를 절단하고, caspase 연쇄 반응을 개시하여 DNA 절편화를 유도합니다.
또한 Bid 단백질 절단을 통해 미토콘드리아 경로를 통한 세포사멸도 유도합니다.
이 단백질은 CTL 및 NK 세포의 용해성 과립에 저장되며, 사람에서는 제한된 수의 granzymes가 확인되었습니다.
