Target Information
NALP2는 세포의 apoptosis 및 염증 반응에 관여하는 세포질 단백질 계열에 속합니다. NALP1과 달리 NACHT, LRR, PYD 도메인만을 포함하며, ASC, CARD8, caspase-1과 상호작용하여 proIL-1β 처리 활성이 높은 inflammasome을 형성합니다. NF-κB 및 procaspase-1 활성 조절자로 작용하며, TLR과 유사한 병원체 인식 기능을 수행할 수 있습니다. NALP2는 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화하는 두 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체를 포함합니다.
