For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Cardiac Troponin I (TNNI3) is a key inhibitory protein in cardiac muscle, forming a complex with troponin C (TnC) and troponin T (TnT).
It binds to actin within thin filaments, and calcium binding to TnC releases the inhibitory region of TnI, enabling myosin attachment and muscle contraction.
Measurement of blood TnI and TnT levels serves as a diagnostic indicator for heart muscle damage, differentiating between angina and myocardial infarction.
Mutations in the TNNI3 gene are associated with familial hypertrophic cardiomyopathy type 7 (CMH7) and familial restrictive cardiomyopathy (RCM).
Cardiac Troponin I also inhibits angiogenesis in vivo and in vitro.
