Target Information
BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor)는 신경영양인자(neurotrophin) 계열의 단백질로, pre-proBDNF 형태로 합성된 후 proBDNF로 절단됩니다. 이후 추가적인 절단을 통해 14 kDa의 성숙 단백질이 생성됩니다. proBDNF는 생물학적으로 활성이 있으며, 성숙형과 함께 시냅스 소포에서 분비됩니다.
BDNF는 중추신경계 전반에서 발현되며, 주로 TrkB 수용체를 통해 신호를 전달하지만 p75-NTR 수용체에도 결합합니다.
이 단백질은 신경세포의 생존과 분화를 촉진하고, 기억 형성과 시냅스 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
