Target Information
Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1)의 세포 침입은 바이러스 표면에 존재하는 envelope (Env) glycoprotein 복합체에 의해 매개됩니다. Env는 gp120/gp41 복합체 형태로 존재하며, gp120은 CD4 수용체 및 CCR5 또는 CXCR4 공동수용체와 순차적으로 결합하여 구조적 변화를 유도합니다. 이 변화는 gp41이 바이러스와 표적 세포막의 융합을 매개할 수 있도록 활성화합니다. Env 단백질의 gp120 및 gp41로의 절단은 융합 활성화를 위해 필수적입니다.
