PA1-4385 detects DPP10 in human samples.
This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot procedures and detects a ~75 kDa protein representing DPP10.
Oligomerization and differential glycosylation may produce additional bands, as observed with other DPP family members.
The immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 521–539 of human DPP10.

Target Information

DPP10 is a novel gene encoding a homolog of dipeptidyl peptidases (DPPs), enzymes that cleave terminal dipeptides from cytokines and chemokines.
It represents a potential new target for asthma therapy.
DPP10 shares structural features with the S9B family of DPP serine proteases, including DPP4, which plays a central role in chemokine processing within the innate immune system.
The gene locus exhibits complex transcript splicing patterns, with eight alternate first exons—four localized within the LD block strongly associated with asthma.
