For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Tryptase gamma (TPSG1), also known as serine protease 31 or transmembrane tryptase, is a trypsin-like serine protease encoded by the TPSG1 gene in humans.
Tryptases are active only as heparin-stabilized tetramers and are resistant to endogenous proteinase inhibitors.
Several tryptase genes are clustered on chromosome 16p13.3, including αI, βI, βII, and γI, with allelic variants αII, βIII, and γII.
Beta tryptases are mainly expressed in mast cells, while alpha tryptases predominate in basophils.
The TPSG1 gene differs from other family members by having a C-terminal hydrophobic domain that may act as a membrane anchor.
Tryptases are implicated in asthma and other allergic or inflammatory disorders.
