- Recommended positive controls: HeLa, HepG2, mouse brain.
- Predicted reactivity: Mouse (87%), Rat (87%), Pig (94%), Chicken (82%), Bovine (93%).
- PA5-32163 detects SERPINE2 protein in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded equine endometrial tissue.
- Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial.
Target Information
This gene encodes a member of the serpin family of proteins, which inhibit serine proteases such as thrombin, urokinase, plasmin, and trypsin.
It is a susceptibility gene for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and emphysema.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
