Target Information
TLR4 (Toll-like receptor 4)는 병원체 인식 및 선천 면역 활성화에 핵심적인 역할을 하는 수용체입니다.
이 단백질은 Drosophila에서 인간까지 보존되어 있으며, 구조적·기능적 유사성을 공유합니다.
주로 태반과 백혈구의 myelomonocytic 세포 아형에서 발현되며, LPS에 의해 활성화됩니다.
TLR4는 CD14, LY96과 함께 LPS 수용체 복합체를 형성하여, 그람음성균의 LPS에 대한 신호전달을 매개합니다.
이 수용체는 PAMPs 인식 및 면역반응 유도에 관여하며, 유전자 변이는 LPS 반응성 차이와 관련이 있습니다.
TLR4는 말초혈 단핵구 및 일부 B세포에서 발현되며, TLR4 결핍 마우스는 LPS 반응 저하 및 그람음성 패혈증 감수성을 보입니다.
