Description:
The 9E2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD335 (NKp46), a member of the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family expressed on NK cells. CD335 plays a key role in activating and expanding resting NK cells upon interaction with dendritic cells, facilitating the elimination of tumor and virus-infected cells (e.g., influenza). It also interacts with pancreatic beta cells during type I diabetes development.

The 9E2 antibody has been reported to induce cytotoxicity.

Applications Reported:

• Flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:

• Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells.
• Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (final volume 100 µL).
• Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.

Target Information
