Product Specific Information

The monoclonal antibody 44.189 reacts with human CD336 (NKp44, NCR2), a 44-kDa transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the natural cytotoxicity receptor (NCR) family. It contains an ITIM domain in the cytoplasmic tail and requires association with DAP12, an ITAM-containing accessory protein, for NK cell activation.

CD336 expression has been observed on:

• IL-2-activated NK cells
• IL-3-stimulated plasmacytoid dendritic cells
• αβ T cells in small intestinal epithelium
• T cells in cord blood

This antibody facilitates CD336 crosslinking and is validated for flow cytometric analysis.
Pre-titrated for use at 5 µL (0.25 µg)/test on IL-2-stimulated human peripheral blood cells.
Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
Filtered post-manufacturing (0.2 µm).

Target Information

CD336 (NKp44, NCR2) plays a key role in innate immune responses of activated NK cells against viral infections and tumor proliferation.
Expression and activation require DAP12 association.
