Product Specific Information
Store vial at -20°C prior to opening. Aliquot contents and freeze at -20°C or below for extended storage. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature. Stable for several weeks at 4°C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use.
Target Information
Plays a role in the DNA damage response (DDR) pathway by regulating postreplication repair of UV-damaged DNA and maintaining genomic stability (PubMed:25931565).
The SLF1-SLF2 complex links RAD18 with the SMC5-SMC6 complex at replication-coupled interstrand cross-links (ICL) and DNA double-strand break (DSB) sites during DNA repair in response to stalled replication forks (PubMed:25931565).
Promotes recruitment of SLF2 and the SMC5-SMC6 complex to DNA lesions (PubMed:25931565).
