Target Information
VISTA (V-domain Ig containing suppressor of T-cell activation),
또는 B7-H5, PD-1H로도 알려진 단백질은 VSIR 유전자의 산물입니다.
VISTA는 PD-L1과 서열 상 유사하지만 발현 패턴이 다릅니다.
인간과 마우스 모두에서 VISTA는 주로 조혈세포(hematopoietic cells), 특히 골수계 세포(myeloid cells) 에서 높게 발현되며, T세포에서는 낮게, B세포에서는 거의 발현되지 않습니다.
항원제시세포(APC)가 발현하는 VISTA는 CD4 및 CD8 T세포의 증식과 사이토카인 생성을 직접 억제하는 것으로 알려져 있으며, 암 면역치료(cancer immunotherapy) 타깃으로 주목받고 있습니다.
보고된 리간드로는 CD28H, VSIG-3, VSIG-8이 있습니다.
