Target Information
TESK2 (testis-specific kinase 2) is a serine/threonine protein kinase containing an N-terminal kinase domain. It belongs to the TESK subgroup of the LIMK/TESK family. TESK2 is predominantly expressed in testis and prostate and plays an important role in spermatogenesis. It phosphorylates cofilin specifically at Ser-3, inducing actin stress fiber and focal adhesion formation.
