Product Specific Information

The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1).
CD185 is a seven transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor expressed on B cells, CD4⁺ T cells, and memory T cells. It plays a critical role in lymphocyte trafficking, particularly T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, and is an established marker of follicular helper T cells.

Handling Notes:

• Use Super Bright or Brilliant Stain Buffer to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
• Protect from light; dye is sensitive to photo-induced oxidation.
• Compatible with short-term methanol-based fixation (≤1 hour).
• Store samples in IC Fixation Buffer or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution for up to 3 days at 4°C in dark.

Target Information

CXCR5 (C-X-C Chemokine Receptor Type 5, CD185), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC. It is expressed in lymphatic tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen, and plays an essential role in B cell migration.
CXCR5 expression is observed in human blood, salivary gland, and various animal tissues including lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, and tonsil.
As a GPCR, CXCR5 shares the seven transmembrane structure common to this receptor family, involved in signal transduction and pharmacological regulation.
