- Predicted to react with mouse, non-human primate, and rabbit based on sequence homology.
- Intact IgG appears on a non-reducing gel as ~150 kDa band; upon reduction generates ~25 kDa (light chain) and ~50 kDa (heavy chain) bands.
- Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits and screen for optimal clones.

Target Information
Apolipoprotein C-III (apo-CIII) is encoded by the APOC3 gene and is a component of very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL). It inhibits lipoprotein lipase and hepatic lipase, delaying the catabolism of triglyceride-rich particles. The APOA1, APOC3, and APOA4 genes are closely linked in both rat and human genomes. Elevated apoC-III levels are associated with hypertriglyceridemia.
