Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
CDC42BPA (MRCKA) is a serine/threonine kinase involved in actin cytoskeleton assembly and organization. Three independent coiled-coil domains and the N-terminal region preceding the kinase domain mediate intermolecular interactions leading to MRCK alpha multimerization. Transautophosphorylation is critical for regulating MRCK alpha catalytic activity. Binding of phorbol esters releases autoinhibition, allowing N-terminal dimerization and subsequent kinase activation.
