Product Specific Information

The GL3 monoclonal antibody reacts with the gamma delta T-cell receptor complex (TCR) on all gamma delta TCR-bearing T cells, but not with alpha beta TCR. Gamma delta TCRs are found in the thymus, epidermis, intestinal epithelium, peritoneal cavity, and lymphoid tissues.

• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
• Recommended Pre-treatment: Pre-stain cells with anti-mouse CD16/32 (Product #14-0161-85) to prevent Fc-mediated binding.
• Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse lymph node cells. Use ≤0.5 µg/test (per 100 µL, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Optimize concentration for best results.
• Excitation/Emission: 488–561 nm / 578 nm

Target Information

TCR gamma/delta (T-cell receptor gamma/delta) are specialized T-cells essential for immune recognition. They discriminate self from foreign peptides presented by MHC class II molecules, which is vital for adaptive immune response.
Mutations or abnormal recognition can be associated with autoimmune diseases and tumors. Gamma-delta T cells are mainly found in epithelial tissues and exhibit antitumor and immunoregulatory properties.
